Challenge
With over 600 schools, 22,000 employees and over 300,000 students, NVS is also one of the biggest and unique schooling systems in the world which has produced some of the most famous alumni. Employee stress, safety at schools, and low morale, pessimistic attitude were some of the key concerns here. NVS is India’s residential school system where kids get admission coming from poor and low socio economic backgrounds. The way to seek admission here is only through a rigorous competitive examination. The schools are located at remote rural areas across India. Here not only do the kids stay away from their families but a lot of teachers also stay in their schools away from their homes and families.
Impact
We conducted programs for the top management as well as heads of schools and teachers on the importance of having a safe work culture, how to overcome failures, role of awareness, team work etc and their impact on the image and character of a school. Our trainings helped increase teachers awareness, attitude while making them understand how to relax, unwind and work always intrinsically inspired. We also gave them a unique problem solving model used first by UNESCO in 1988 in Namibia ideally suitable to tackle their herculean challenges.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
